The game Amazon’s New World contains a new gold duplication bug or exploit. The gold dupe bug was being used by a large number of gamers in New World. In order to fix this bug, Amazon Game Studios has disabled the Trading Post and all other wealth transfer options in the game. New World Gold Duplication Exploit/Cheat Code Unlimited Gold Glitch: What is it?
A discord server was where the gold duplication exploit for New World was initially made public. The approach listed below was used by a lot of players that were employing the exploit. Players that take advantage of the New World gold dupe glitch will be permanently barred from the game, thus we advise against it. So, take the risk on your own. Here it is:
- First of all, you have to Trade money (as the sender) to the receiver (as 0 coins) in New World. As a Receiver, you need to use a lag switch (internet limiter).
- The Sender will have to confirm everything.
- Now, the Receiver on the other hand enables the lag switch, and after then only the Receiver has to accept the trade.
- After a few seconds, cancel the trade and disable the net limiter or lag switch.
Done.
Recall that Amazon in the game was blocked for the players that used the aforementioned exploit. The ban’s duration is still a mystery. Therefore, if players want to avoid getting a ban hammer in New World, we strongly advise against using the exploit.
In contrast, Amazon made a formal announcement on their forums that they have disabled all wealth transfers in New World to address the problem:

We are aware of a possible gold duplication exploit that has been circling and we are temporarily disabling all forms of wealth transfer between players (ie. sending currency, guild treasury, trading post, player to player trading).
Any player that has engaged in the use of this exploit will be actioned against.
Once the gold duplication exploit has been investigated and we are ready to turn on wealth transfer again, we will update this post.
